Damaged screens in foundation vents and attic vents, misfitting crawl space access doors, and gaps under doors are some of the most common rodent entry points we find. Sometime considerable construction work is required to completely rodent-proof a structure.
3. Gaps in Roofs
Rats can easily reach second story roofs so siding, eaves and even the roof should be inspected for gaps allowing rodents access. Stink pipes on the roof allow easy access too.
