One of my favorite experiences was actually on a call for a dead smell under a house. I was under the house, crawling around. I glanced to my left and saw a pair of eyes staring at me…never a good sign when you’re under a house! Then 5 more sets of eyes popped up. It turned out to be kittens trapped under the house. The vet said one more day ,and they wouldn’t have made it. So that was a good day! (I also removed a dead opossum from under the house)”

Even as a kid, Jacob loved business and helping others. By the time he was 18, he’d tried, failed, and tried again in multiple ventures.
The real estate crash of 2008 found him at a crossroads. Give up or pivot. Unwilling to quit on his dreams, he started Bug Zapper Pest Control to help every family in Oregon live pest-free. In the early days, it was just him, an old truck, and a refusal to give up. He was fanatical about providing consistent results and a great experience. Over time, word spread and the business grew.
