3. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us and information collected automatically when you use the Site.

Information You Provide

  • Service and account information — details about your property, the type of service you request, treatment history, scheduling preferences, and notes from our technicians.
  • Payment information — billing name, billing address, and payment card or bank account details. Payment information is collected and processed by our third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
  • Communications — information you share when you call, text, email, complete a contact form, respond to a survey, or post a review.
  • Marketing preferences — your subscription status, opt-in consents, and unsubscribe choices.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and time spent on the Site.
  • Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies used for site functionality, analytics, and (where you have opted in) marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from public sources, marketing partners, and service providers (for example, lead-generation platforms, review sites, mapping services, or our scheduling and email/SMS provider, Mailchimp).

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Schedule, perform, and follow up on pest control services.

5. SMS / Text Messaging and Mobile Information

Important. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in consent, or any text-message content with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected as part of our SMS program is used only to deliver the messages you have requested and to support the program (for example, our messaging platform Mailchimp and the wireless carriers that route the messages).

6. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as described below.

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us run our business — for example, our scheduling and field-service software, payment processors, email and SMS provider (Mailchimp), website hosting and analytics, accounting, and customer support tools. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bug Zapper Pest Control, our customers, or the public.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to this Privacy Policy.
  • With your consent. We may share information for any other purpose with your consent.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or text-message content with third parties for their own marketing.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure traffic, and (with your consent where required) deliver relevant marketing. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Site may not function properly if you do.
