Beaverton Rodent Control & Rat Removal Services

Tall firs, thick ivy, a creek out back. Rats love it.

We love Beaverton. Unfortunately, rats love it too. Roof rats climb in from the big firs and the ivy. Norway rats dig in along Fanno Creek, Beaverton Creek and the greenways that run behind the neighborhoods. We trap what’s inside, seal the way in and keep them out.

Problem solved properly

Rodents don’t stay hidden for long.

Beaverton gets both kinds of rats. Roof rats use branches, ivy and fences to reach the roof and get into the attic. Norway rats burrow along foundations and under woodpiles, then find their way into the crawlspace. By the time you hear them, they’ve usually found a warm spot and a way back in.

Store-bought traps catch a few. They don’t close the gap they came through, so more move in.

What you get with Bug Zapper

We don’t just trap. We find the way in.

Rodent jobs don’t end when the traps are set. Closing the gaps they used is just as important as removing what’s already there. It’s the same rodent control we do all over Oregon, from technicians who work Beaverton every day.

  • Thorough attic inspection

  • Crawlspace inspection

  • 20+ pro traps installed

  • Entry points closed

HOW WE DO IT

Complete rodent control from inspection to protection.

We remove the rodents and close the openings they used. Otherwise, the same way in is still there.

Inspect

We check the attic, crawlspace, garage and outside walls to find where they live and how they get in.

Install

Pro traps and locked bait stations go where the rodents travel, away from kids and pets.

Seal

We close the gaps they’re using so the next one can’t follow the same path in.

Maintain

We keep a rodent barrier around your home all year so new ones don’t move in.

Good to know

Where are Beaverton’s rats coming from?

Beaverton is full of big trees, ivy and creeks. Roof rats use the first two to reach your roof. Norway rats use the creeks to get from yard to yard.

  • Trees and ivy: roof rats nest up off the ground and use branches and ivy to get onto the roof.

  • Creeks: Fanno Creek, Beaverton Creek, Cedar Mill Creek and Bronson Creek give Norway rats water and cover.

  • Woodpiles and sheds: Norway rats burrow under them, right next to your foundation.

  • Seal any gap bigger than a dime. That’s all a mouse needs.

When rodents move in.

Fall: the rain starts and rats move up into dry attics, garages and crawlspaces.

Winter: they stay inside, nest in the insulation and breed. A few turn into a lot.

Spring and summer: roof rats run the fence lines and tree branches, and fruit trees, gardens and bird feeders keep them fed.

Rodent facts

Rats and mice cost more the longer they stay.

Rodents spread fast, chew through things that are expensive to fix and bring fleas in with them.

They damage homes.

Rats chew insulation, wiring, ducts and even the wiring in cars parked in the garage.

They spread germs.

Rats and mice leave droppings and urine wherever they travel and often carry fleas into the house.

They multiply fast.

A pair of rats can turn into a colony in a few months if nobody deals with them.

The Guide

A smarter option than guessing.

Hearing rats is one thing. Finding how they got in is the real job. We check the roofline, vents, crawlspace doors and garage, then close the gaps.

  • Fully licensed and experienced technicians.

  • Professional office support and clear communication.

  • Follow-up until the rodent issue is handled.

  • Long-term prevention instead of temporary fixes.

Every rodent problem has a way in.

We find the entry points and nests before we set a single trap.

What Oregon families say

“They noticed signs of rodents in our garage and asked about putting bait stations in the garage and they had us check under the hood of the cars for signs of any rodent activity, sure enough there were signs. They took care of that as well!”

BEAVERTON RODENT CONTROL

Before you reach out.

Do trees and ivy really bring rats in?

They can. Roof rats nest up off the ground and use branches, ivy and fences to reach the roof. Keeping branches trimmed back from the roofline and thinning the ivy near the house takes away their easiest way in. We’ll show you which ones matter.

Are the rats coming from the creek behind my house?

Creeks give Norway rats water and cover, and they travel along them to reach yards. They usually nest close to food, under woodpiles, sheds and decks and along foundations. We find where they’re nesting and how they’re getting into the house, then seal it.

Is your rodent service safe for pets and kids?

Yes. Bait goes in locked stations, and traps go where kids and pets can’t reach them.

Do you handle rats in Aloha, Cedar Mill and Bethany?

Yes. We handle rats and mice all over Beaverton, including Aloha, Cedar Mill, Cedar Hills, Bethany, Murray Hill and Raleigh Hills. See everything we do on our Beaverton pest control page.

PESTS DON’T WAIT.

Rats in the attic? Chewed wires in the car? We should talk.
